Neca Amazon Store

Black Lightning is finally following in the footsteps of the other Arrowverse heroes by getting his own Funko Pop! I get it, because Walmart or Walgreens or whoever pays Hasbro or Funko or NECA for the rights to be the only seller for a collectible, and retailers are their real customers yadda yadda but Walmart, especially, is just terrible with exclusives from seemingly every company.

Thanks to this year's virtual SDCC, a ton of new items will soon be available to fans, all without the long lines and that unique” con smell. Instead of attending a physical event, but still keeping the convention spirit alive, Funko is bringing SDCC 2020 virtually to your home this summer with Funko Virtual Con 3.0, Funko's third virtual con.

When Black Lightning debuted on The CW, the series was set in a world separate from the rest of the network's DC-inspired superhero shows collectively known as the Arrowverse — Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. This SDCC 2020 Funko Pop will feature a special glitter effect to bring the ice age to your collection.

The Funko Virtual Con 3.0 is expected to take place between July 19th - 23rd. This year's Funko San Diego Comic-Con Virtual Con will take place from Sunday, July 19th - Saturday, July 25th. Per the announcement, the Black Lightning figure is limited to 3000 pieces, making it likely the most difficult to get of the group.

SDCC is cancelled for the years due to the current global health crisis, however Funko will be hosting Virtual Con 3 from July 19th - 25th. Another round of Previews San Diego Comic-Con 2020 Exclusives have been announced. Thanks to the Arrowverse crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths" which saw the Multiverse destroyed only to be recreated with the lost Earths part of one Earth-Prime, Black Lightning's world was merged with the main Arrowverse continuity.

While we are still waiting on the full details from Funko, information is Black Lightning Finally Gets a Funko Pop starting to trickle out for SDCC. It also means when you buy them at that booth they come with a more limitedSDCC Logo sticker onthe box while the ones at these stores come with a more common summer convention sticker.
